In loving memory of:
Letty Carrillo Laviena
10/07/1951 - 08/19/2024
Letty was born October 7th, 1951, in Los Filtros de Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, her Parents were Alfonso Carrillo and Francisca Claudio Gonzalez, she had 22 Siblings, 5 Children: Elizabeth, Armando, Joada, Leticia and Francisco. She also had 17 Grand Children: Enoch, Natasha, Priscilla, Jacob, Thomas, Edis Jr, Francisco Jr., Edwin, Amanda, Jacqueline, Matthew, Joshua, Serena, Issac, Savannah, Jennifer and Frannkeigh. And as young as she was, she also had 9 Great Grand Children. Letty came to live in South Camden, New Jersey, at a very young age, following her mother’s footsteps for a better environment for herself to raise her children. She focused on her daily jobs and learning everything she could to be able to raise her kids most of the time as a single mother. Letty started attending Fuente De Vida Pentecostal Church in the 80’s, where she found Christ, and she became a whole new person. Letty devoted herself and her household to serving Jesus. She started attending the Biblical Institute which she Graduated and became a Minister, mind you from not being able to attend Elementary School to Graduating from Theological Biblical Institue with honors was a great accomplishment for her. She went overseas on Missions, went to visit the Prisons both in NJ & in PA. She gave her all to Christ despite her many illnesses, she was able and at the ready to serve when was needed of her. She wrote a book about her many live testimonies. Letty was a Warrior for Christ, selfless in many ways, while at the same time helping whoever was in need. Letty married Mario, and they lived about 33yrs together until as recent as last year in January 7th, 2023, Mario pass away leaving Letty widowed. In this past year of 2024 Letty struggle with her health many times she ended up in the hospital and would tell me that during her stay there she meets someone she needed to talk to about Christ. All in all, mom is no longer suffering from her many ailments but is rejoicing herself up in Heaven with her many Family members and friends. I would like to thank my mother Letty, for gifting me with so many memorable moments, she wasn’t just only my mom, she was my dad, my bestie and my Hero. My dearest Mother, until we meet again, I will always cherish our memories and the experiences we had together, I love you today, tomorrow, always and forever. With great pride in being called your daughter, Elizabeth.
