Dear Michael,
I am shocked and saddened by the passing of your mother. I had the pleasure of getting to know your mother through a professional working relationship. I loved working with her; it was truly an honor. Poised, classy, professional, and caring are just a few of the words that I can use to describe her. You and I never met, but she talked about you often. Your mother was so proud of you and your spirit. May you find peace during this very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Michael and family, Sharon and I became good friends through her working with my district Neptune, on the Perkins Grant. She was always so gracious, professional, helpful, and genuine when she came to help us with the grant. We immediately became instant friends as though we had known each other forever. I enjoyed every minute we shared. She was a remarkable woman and human being. I know she is singing with the angels right now.

Michael, you have been so strong during this difficult time. You are truly your mother's child. She was preparing you...even when you did not know it to be strong and grounded in the Lord to be "ABLE" to meet any challenges that come your way. She is certainly "smiling" at the responsible young person that she raised and saying "Well Done Michael"! Who says that a MOM cannot raise a strong MAN who will now carry on the legacy that she began for your family. Submitted with Love & Much Respect For You, Ms. Donna King-Wright

Sharon Gregory was my friend and I miss her. I miss her smile, her honesty, her meticulous beauty and her moral excellence. She was a virtuous woman and an example for people like me of what a "real" christian walk is supposed to look like. She was not a phony and to find a true friend was to find Sharon Gregory. I know GOD put her in my path to teach me a lesson, as we should learn lessons (whether good or bad) from all of our relationships. I learned that a walk with GOD should shine like a light into ALL places and that is who Sharon Gregory was. Again, I will miss my friend who always accused me of being overprotective. But who would not want to PROTECT a Beautiful Flower.

Sharon, my heart is broken as I hear of your death. We were line sisters of Zeta Phi Beta, Omega Beta Chapter at Fayetteville State. We went through so much but we had so much fun. You, Alma, Gwen and I were bonded together. It is so sad that we all went our different ways and did not communicate with each other, as we should have. I pray for your family and I look forward to seeing you again. Please look for my mom, Doris Boykin and my daughter, Sunshyne Gay Jacobs. They will welcome you with open arms for I know that they are singing and walking around heaven all day. Love you Soro until we meet again.

When the wisdom of God unfolds in time and space, we see just how awesome the Great Architect really is. In God's infinite wisdom it was time for Sharon to come home; to a place where there is joy unthinkable, love unconditional, grace everlasting, and abundant peace that surpasses all understanding. I will continue to miss her as she journeys along the path God has already laid for her. She is my sister in Christ and my friend in this life. May the grace and peace of God be with you, Michael. You are indeed an exceptional man. Ursula

To Michael, Mrs. Sarah Stewart and Sharon's siblings, I was saddened when I learned of Sharon's passing. Sharon was active in New Bethel A.M.E. Zion Church in Fayetteville where she grew up. She sang in the children's and youth choirs that I played for. This is something we all will do. Be blessed in knowing that God is all wise, all knowing and does all things in His time. Be comforted in knowing that there is a place for Sharon to rest throughout eternity. You're in my prayers. God does heal broken hearts.

Sharon, are time spent together or on the phone was few and far between. I had the pleasure of hearing your voice days before our Father called you to His Kingdom. My heart is comforted knowing your walk in Christ was strong and unwavering. As we mourn the loss of your physical presence, we must rejoice in your home-going and reminisce on the wonderful memories of you, Sharon. May God bless your son, Michael, and all that he may endure through this time.
With love always,
Bethany
