My heart is hurt right now because I'm just finding out that my dear friend, Giuffre, is no longer here. I will always remember his quick wit with humor. He was a loving friend to me and my daughters, Shana and Ayana Powell. My daughters loved him so. I will certainly miss him. My condolenses to his wife and children and to his parents. Giuffre will always hold a place in my heart.

Giuffre a.k.a Giuf,
I will always remember the fun we had at Holy Spirit High School as well as shooting hoops with Beck and Leonard at the West Side Elementary School basketball court in Atlantic City. You were a close family friend. And thanks to you, Nu Lightwave Logic LLC in which you helped to build a strong foundation is off to a great start. You were the legal compass which guided us to where we are now. As a founding member and managing partner, your loyalty can never be replaced and your wisdom and sharp wit will forever be deeply missed and never forgotten. I now know how troops feel when they lose a brother in combat. You will always be our brother, Shelly our sister, and Kiana and Devin, our family. We will see each other again in God's Kingdom my brother.

My man Giff! 2 Days cannot past where there's not a moment I think or reminded of one of your famous quotes and the logic behind them. You'd have me rethinking my original position when you're done...while not letting me get a word in edgewise(smh). You are the ever optimist and my life and the life of my children will be richer for having known you. I know past friends and relatives are enjoying you sense of humor and wit right now.You have left us with a lifetime of fun-filled memories.

Cuz, after many years of exchanging wit for wit, I must say that you were always a step ahead of me. I could not understand how my younger cousin was so sharp. You grew up in the country and I was from New York. I knew I was sharp but I must admit Cuz, you were sharper! You are truly missed and I love you man. May the Peace of The Lord always be with the family through these hard and mourning times. Glad to know that you are resting in a place of Glory.

Our Beloved Mr. Hollingsworth has left a void on the 10th floor of OPC that will never be filled. I keep finding myself looking down the hall waiting for him to turn the corner. And then I cry. But I do find solace knowing that Giff is in pain no more and has found a place with our maker and with that I know our paths will cross again. To Shelly, Devin and Kiana, you had a great husband and wonderful father who loved you very much and was loved by everyone who knew him. His smile lit up the room whenever he spoke of you which was often. May you find strenght through reflection, memories and knowing that there is an Army of folks lifting you up in Prayer. May the Peace of the Lord forever be with you. In Deepest Sympathy.

I want to express my sorrow over the loss of your Giuffre. I had the pleasure of seeing him as an adult when my Aunt Willie Mae died.He had the kind of personality that made someone instantly like him. Losing a loved one is very difficult for all who knew and loved him. Thankfully the Bible offers comfort for the family. GOD promises us that soon "death will be no more. He also gives us the hope of seeing our deceased loved ones. You can read those words of comfort @ Revelation 21:3-4 and John 5:28,29.
