What tremendous sorrow we all felt to hear of the passing of your loved one and our friend, Jacob. It was my pleasure to work with him for 6 1/2 yrs. He truly let his light shine in the work that he did with such dedication for persons who needed our support more than most. Last December, he was honored & awarded at work for his outstanding service to individuals with varying degrees of disabilities. And how they all loved him & looked forward to his presence each day. Jacob worked with some of the most challenging persons and helped them to reach greater success. I had great respect for Jacob for his honesty, fairness, willingness to serve and belief in God. Even after I left my post at the company we worked for, he would occasionally check in with a phone call to ask about the family. At this most difficult time, I hope that your family will find comfort from God's Holy Word. It won't take away the void left by his passing, it won't completely erase the tears and you surely will never let him leave your memory. But may the scriptures comfort you in a way that makes this loss a little easier to bear. Jesus has promised: "And just a little while longer, and all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." (John 5:28-29)Jacob never doubted the awesome power of God. (John 5:21) May you too have faith that the Father of tender mercies & God of all comfort, will sustain you at this time. (2 Corinthians 1:3&4) A new day will come when we will no longer have to suffer the sting of death. (Revelation 21:3&4)
My deepest sympathy,
Denise
