Henry George �Sully� �Sulster� �Steam� Austin of Camden, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Camden�s Cooper University Health Care with family by his side. The son of Henry and Mary Austin; father of Henry Qawi Rahim Austin I and his wife Angela Niquia Austin; grandfather of Qwyen Essencia Austin and Henry Qawi Rahim Austin II. Sully also leaves behind many friends and extended family. An avid fan of basketball, fine foods and Frank Sinatra, Sully was beloved by the Camden City community, remembered for his outstanding achievement as a Camden High School alumnus, his uncanny loyalty to Camden High School�s Basketball and Football programs, and faithful legacy membership to Camden�s Macedonia AME Church dating back to his childhood in the 1950�s. As a former Camden High School Alexander M. Oaks Award Winner (1968) and student of Seton Hall University and Howard University, Sully�s superior intellect, sportsmanship, charisma and culture for educational excellence was well known and respected among his family, friends, and peers. Sully was a loving father, grandparent and best friend to all. Renaissance man. Jazz aficionado. Unique, brilliant and compassionate in every way. Your memory still lives in the hearts and minds of us all. We will miss you! The services have been made private.
