May you find comfort knowing that others share your grief. I remember the fun "Et" brought to the bus ride to school during high school in Wilmington NC. Hopefully, you will be sustained by great memories of her, too!

I was saddened to hear of your loss. My memories of working with Ethel are good. It seemed as if we always had more work than time but she could be depended on to do all she could to make sure our work was done and done correctly. My prayers are with you all.

Our heartfelt condolence goes out to you, Ethel's family.
This is, no doubt, a difficult time for you. While you may not totally understand GOD's Will and Way just now, relevant to Ethel's illness and subsequent death, we pray you will see HIM in everything...not only in the prosperous days, but also in the reverses life may bring, such as her death, and do remember.....'HE Makes No Mistake'.
As the days and weeks begin to pass, soon after services have been concluded, and you begin to return to lifes routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends and your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.
With our love in CHRIST, or earnest sympathy, and our prayers,
BLESSINGS ON YOU!!!

"Essie" as I called her, (smile; we always used nicknames), was my friend and classmate. No matter how long we were apart or without verbal contact, each reunion was as if we had just talked yesterday. When you make great friends, it last a lifetime and you are remembered with love, smiles and tears. To the family my prayers. Be Blessed

My deepest sympathy is intended for all of Ethel's family and her nearest and dearest close friends.
Et (as I called her) was a loving person, if you knew her. I will remember her as being very fashionable and bringing laughter to me while we worked together in Jefferson District.
