The family of the late Camden Police Chief Harold Melleby extends its heartfelt sympathy to Mrs. Pugh and the entire Pugh family for your loss. You remain in our thoughts and prayers. We have so many fond memories of Chief Pugh (Bob) and his frequent visits to our home in East Camden. Our father and Bob had a special bond built on mutual respect, trust, and loyalty. May God reward them both with eternal rest in Heaven.
Sincerely,
Harold Melleby, Jr.

CONDOLENCE LETTER
TO THE FAMILY OF GEORGE D. PUGH
The BIBLE says, “Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted”
Matthew 5:4
I pray that you the family, Renee his wife, sons David, Marlon, Byron and Jeris, grandchildren and in –laws, will find peace and comfort in knowing that others are concerned and care for you. But more than that, that GOD will give to you the strength and courage to move through these days.
Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather who protected, cared, and provided for all of you. Hold on to those memories. They will build a bridge over the sadness as time moves on.
Bob also served, protected and cared for his community. Making a safe environment not only for his family but for others as well. He loved his jobs and was fair and upright as a police officer, chief of police, and director of public safety.
“A great soul serves everyone all the time. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again” – Maya Angelou
Sorrowfully submitted,
Oteria Johnson- Sheldon

Chief Pugh was a giant on the Camden scene. I often thought he would have been a great mayor, given the opportunity. The made the city and the world better by his presence. RIP old buddy.

I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. May God almighty, father of tender mercies and all comfort continue to strengthen you all (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). How eager we all are to see the fulfillment of Gods promise to completely remove death, tears, mourning, outcry and pain (Revelation 21:4). The Bible also provides assurance of the resurrection hope for our dead loved ones (John 5:25). May these promises from God bring you comfort. You can learn more about Gods purposes at www.jw.org

As a person who fought to ensure the safety of so many and as a man loved by his family, George will certainly be missed. May what Jesus said at John 5:28, 29 regarding the time when those in memorial tombs will be brought back to life bring solace to loved ones.
