Muhammad was a part of our Cooper family. He will never be forgotten. It was a great pleasure taking care of him and your family. He was so lucky to have you as parents, brothers, sisters.... your dedication to him and his health was more than anyone could have ever asked for. He lived a great life because of all of you. Thinking of you always.....
Love you MoMo

My deepest condolences to the Sanjurjo family during this difficult time. Sue and Janine couldn't have said it any better. I've gotten very acquainted with Momo over the last year with his multiple admissions to Cooper. It was almost as if he heard us speaking of him in the unit, for the next day he would come and grace us with his presence. It was a pleasure getting to know your beautiful family. Please know that he will never be forgotten, for he holds a special place in each of his Cooper nurse's hearts. Rest peacefully Momo..
Mommy Nat, please come by to visit us... and know that I will always rock the "Mo bun" in his honor.
With love,
Gina Brouster

I was lucky to meet and take care of Mohammed when he was just about a year old. He was known as the "little peanut" back then. Even though he was small, he let us know what he liked and didn't like. His big beautiful eyes watched everything, and his smile would lite up the room.
Over the years, this little peanut grew into his name, Muhammed. However here in the PICU most of us called Muhammed, "Momo". He touched so many lives. So many of us here at Cooper Hospital (nurses, doctors, respiratory therapists, child life, techs,...) fell in love with him and his beautiful family. We saw ourselves as his "Cooper family" working hard during his every hospital visit to get him better and back home to his beautiful family. This time it was not meant to be....
He is an inspiration to us. Momo had to fight to over come many hurdles in his lifetime... beating the odds so many times. Definitely an amazing young man. Everyone who knew Momo, loved him! I know I did! I also know I would always look forward to seeing Nat's latest pictures of Momo dressed in his special outfits for his excursions....decked out in his cute shirts and sunglasses, always brought a smile to my face... as well as Nat's stories of how he loved his bath time with her. Even though Momo couldn't do as much during his later years, he still brought much love to his family and friends.
Words cannot express my sadness at your loss Nat & Luis, and family! Momo will be forever remembered and forever missed!
My deepest sympathy Nat & Luis, love Sue Butler (one of Momo's PICU nurses)
