Happy Birthday and wedding anniversary brother. Sorry you couldn't make my 50th a few weeks ago.I know you are going to send me some "heaven fired" golf balls for mine on the 28th. Don't forget G.G's on the 29th. We really miss your physical presence but we are blessed to be recipients of your spiritual omnipresence' We gave you a 17 seconds; standing ovation for your special day, certainly hope you felt the love ripples from our souls.
The Lamentations of Jeremiah are my cries during periods of extreme doubt and discontent ." / Book of Sty/ Andy "Chico" Davis

Gerald's absence will be keenly felt in his hometown of Natchitoches, LA and especially in the continuity of his high school's commemorative celebrations in the future. A long shadow will be cast among us as we observe the upcoming LNC reunion for he was intensely involved and scheduled to be one of our keynote speakers, and a better one could not have been chosen. His capability to express his perspective in articulate verbiage was an attribute for which he was noted and well respected. Gerald's love of his alma mater-Central High School was so poignantly unfolded in a poem that he authored and rendered to the entire body of reunion attendees. He will be missed!
It is my desire that his family will be fortified by the word and comforted by many fond memories that they shared with this great gentleman of our times!

We wanted to share our condolences with the Davis family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3, 4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.
