Celebration of Life

Mr. Robert Allen Smith, Jr., Willingboro resident was called into our Lord’s Kingdom on Friday morning, December 8, 2017 at the young age of 53. Robert was born in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri on December 21, 1963 to parents, Mrs. Etelvenia Sylvia Smith (Moore) of Willingboro, New Jersey and Mr. Robert Allen Smith, Sr. (deceased)

Robert attended Pemberton Township High School and graduated in 1981. He also attended Lincoln University the College of New Jersey, Lincoln Technical and Camden County College. While attending Camden County College, Robert excelled and was on the Dean’s List. He truly was a phenomenal baseball player in his younger years and that was passed down to his daughter, Marissa, who also played softball. Robert had his own TV Repair business, Smitty Did It.

Robert was affectionately known as “Smitty”, “Buffer”, “Buffy”, “Duff”, and “The TV Guy.”

Robert was a loving son, husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, cousin and friend, Robert was loved, admired, very popular, funny, intelligent, generous, kind, caring and humbled. He always had a bright smile on his face that lite up the entire room. Robert was also family oriented, loved his mother, his daughter, his wife, sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces and all family and friends. He welcomed  anyone he met with open arms, quick to talk to total strangers and share laughter with everyone.

Robert leaves behind, his beloved mother, Etelvenia Sylvia Smith and her lifelong  companion, Mr. Melvin McMilan of Willingboro, New Jersey; his beloved daughter, Ms. Marissa Etelvenia Bernice Smith of Willingboro, New Jersey; his beloved wife, Mrs. Marye Teresa Smith (Kinsman); his beloved sisters, Ms. Andrea Aflena McGhee; Ms. L’Tanya Sylvia Smith Johnson (deceased); his beloved sisters-in-law Mrs. Lorraine Anne Alarcon (Kinsman) of Ewing, New Jersey, Mrs. Vicki Elaine Rudd (Kinsman) of Pleasant Hill, California; Mr. Donald McGhee of Browns Mill, New Jersey, Mr. John Paul Jones Kinsman of Goosecreek, South Carolina and Mr. Leo Michael Kinsman of Palmyra, New Jersey; aunts, uncles, cousins, many, many beloved friends and associates.

Entering in peace now for all eternity with our dear Lord, God above. Robert surely will be missed by many. The Lord restored him to his forever glory. Until we meet again. So long our beloved, dear friend. We will always love you Robert Allen Smith, Jr.
