Stan will be sorely missed by the teachers, friends, patients and staff in the pediatric clinic and CHOP. I worked with him many years and learned from his ability to handle children as well as his skill as a surgeon.
I am also a great admirer of his accomplishments and realize what he has attained after a humble beginning.
We were great friends; I miss him.

It was truly a pleasure working with Dr Brown these past 12 years until his retirement. One of my fondest memories was listening to him talk about the history and architecture of the West Philadelphia area. I was amazed at how knowledgeable he was regarding the structures around the old city and who lived in which buildings and why the moldings on the outside of one building was different than the other.
To me, He was a quiet and gentle man. I never heard him speak to anyone in a harsh or unkind manner. I used to love to tell him jokes and watch his face light up as he attempted to walk away from me shaking his head. The world has lost a precious stone but Heaven has gained a precious jewel.
Rest in Peace Stanford,
Beverly M Bradley, EFDA

Dr. Brown will be missed by so many. His dedication to the Penn Dental Pediatric Clinic will not be surpassed by any other clinician. Many students have benefited from his expertise and treatment advice. As a previous manager, I could rely on his sound advice on how to manage a difficult situation.
Rest easy, Dr. Brown. You will be missed.
