Obituary of Chrystal Ann Briscoe

CHRYSTAL ANN BRISCOE, also known as “Chris’’, daughter of the late Barbara Jean Butler-Briscoe and Elwood James Briscoe was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey on November 29, 1961 was called home to her final resting place on Tuesday April 3, 2018.

Chrystal was educated in the Haddonfield public school system and graduated from Haddonfield Memorial High School in 1980.  She later attended Taylor School of Business.

At a very early age, Chrystal accepted Christ as her personal Savior and continued to serve him faithfully. She was raised in Mt Pisgah A.M.E Church, Haddonfield New Jersey, and was a devoted and loyal member.  After relocating to Lawrenceville, Georgia, Chris attended The Church at Chateau in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Chrystal had an entrepreneurial spirit and loved molding the lives of small children, so much so that she created her own Day Care center while enjoying a huge following of clients and love of the children she worked with.

Chris had a gentle and endearing spirit that captivated all whose lives she connected with.  The brightness of her smile and sparkle in her eyes depicted the true beauty of her name.  She was always eager to freely bestow her kindness to anyone who was in need.  Chrystal was a fighter.  The magnitude of her strength and determination of her spirit allowed her to rise above her illness.

She had a brilliant smile that would light up a room and inviting personality which attracted all that knew her.  Her biggest attribute was the ability to speak with people (friends or strangers) leaving an indelible impression on every person encountered.  

Chris leaves in mourning her father Elwood James Briscoe, brother Anthony Briscoe of Marlton New Jersey, sister and brother- in-law Monica and Jimmy Crawl of Gainesville Florida step-sister Angel Briscoe, step-brother Barry Briscoe, six uncles Leon Butler, Robert Butler, Cornelius Butler, James Butler, Donald Butler, Leonard Butler, three aunts Chrissandra Butler, Shirley Butler, and Etta Banks, two nephews Justin Crawl, Jared Crawl, two nieces Jasmine Crawl, Jordan Crawl, cousins and dear friends.
