Obituary of Tonya Marie Cook

Tonya M. Cook, age 32, departed this life on July 2, 2018. She was born to Ronald Hill and Faye Cook on May 7, 1986. She was educated in the Bridgeton Public School system.

Tonya accepted Christ in her life in 2015. She enjoyed cooking, eating out, going to the movies and to the beach in Atlantic City. She enjoyed experimenting with various hair styles and make-up and she loved to dance!

Tonya’s biggest passion was spending time with family and interacting with her nieces and nephews. Tonya also dreamed of having a house and children of her own like her siblings.

Tonya asked for very little and harbored no ill feelings toward anyone. She was always ready to put others before herself.

Tonya’s new “mission” takes her to a wonderful place where there are no more struggles, hurt, pain, disappointments and suffering. A place where there is joy…unspeakable joy…peace and praising God with those who predeceased her. What a reunion!

We will remember her smile and laughter, her warmth. Her selflessness and love for life.

Tonya leaves to cherish her memories, her mother; Faye Cook, her father; Ronald Hill, two sisters; Danielle Jenkins (Mark), Kichell Cook of Vineland, New Jersey,three brothers; Timothy and Brandon Cook and Anthony Chapple, six nephews, five nieces, cousins and a host of aunts and uncles. She also leaves a favorite cousin; Joshsheenia.

Tonya was predeceased by her maternal grandmother; Lorraine Cook, maternal grandfather; Glenn Brooks and paternal grandparent; Willie and Mattie Mae Hill. Tonya will always be remembered as our sweet angelic angel and we’ll someday be reunited again in that place called Heaven. Sleep on Tonya, sleep on Tonya and take your rest. We all loved you, but God loved you best!
