Joe, I always loved working with you. I drove you crazy almost every day, but you were always so kind and patient with me, and with all of us in Horace Mann School, especially the students. They loved you, Mr. Joe! I used to love when they huddled around you, and when you read books to them. You were so much more to everyone who knew you, and you don't realize what a lasting impression you left on all of us. Rest in peace, Mr. Joe.

We have missed seeing Joe these last few years, Joe was a big help to Mary during her tenure at Horace Mann. I always enjoyed talking with Joe in his "little" room when I visited Mary. May Joe rest in peace with Jesus whom he has worshiped, praised, and worked for his whole life. He is missed.
