Pastor Thomas was my pastor when I attended First African Baptist Church. He truly was a man of God and a great leader and teacher. I will always be grateful for him being with my family after my father. To Mrs.Thomas and family my thoughts,prayers and love are with you. Well damn be thy good and faithful servant. It came as a great shock to me hearing of the sudden passing of my friend Pastor Dennis Earl Thomas.
For I meet him while singing with the Carol Antrom Ensemble. I joined with Dennis when he (and a group of other friends) started a ministry called "Stretch Out Ministry" - Those early days really taught us how to rely on the Lord and we spent a lot of time in prayer and bible study. What at fantastic journey it was to see Pastor Thomas blossom and moved wherever the Lord lead him. This is truly our lost, but heaven's gain.
Please know that prayers from the Bolger and Payne family are constantly covering you.
May the Lord keep and comfort you in your time of lost.
I know Dennis is rejoicing with the Lord today! Hallelujah!

My heart is so heavy with the passing of Pastor Dennis Thomas. When my family joined First Corinthian Baptize Church, his grandfather Rev. JW Thomas was the pastor, then his uncle Rev Salas Thomas. Pastor Dennis always had a story. I remember a few time when he left the pulpit and came down to play the drums. He will be missed. Rest easy Pastor.

We would like to express our deepest condolences to the Thomas family and congregation on the passing of Dr. Dennis Thomas. He was an awesome servant of God. We still remember the numerous times we have heard him preaching revivals or MLK Day Services at Sharon Baptist Church in Richmond, VA.He was a scholar and gifted in being able to be inclusive of all generations in his preaching. He truly shall be missed. Our prayers are with you and may you find comfort found in the words found in Matthew 5:4 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.
