Johnny met the love of his life Renee in 1979 and they married in 1986. Johnny had a quiet spirit and Renee well, they say opposite attracts right. They attended church together, travel together and Johnny was the highlight at bowling alley with the Bowling Mrs. Johnny was very active in the community. He helped with Samaritan’s Grief and Support mailings each month. Johnny and Renee were inseparable. You never saw one without the other. There wedding day was perfect. When Renee and Johnny took their vow, the pastor asks Renee to repeat these words that would forever change the way she would take care of Johnny. Those words were to death do you part. From that day, Renee had made a promise to God to always give her husband the best care a person could get.

Johnny and Renee both enjoyed attending their Thursday bible study learning all they could about the word of God. Johnny also got involved with Vacation Bible School and Grace Temple Food distribution.
