Willie James Woodard was born May 16, 1947 to the late James and Rose Woodard in Greenville Georgia. He was taught and raise to accept Christ at a very young age in Greenville Georgia. Willie was educated very early in the Greenville school system. He later moved to Camden New Jersey with his family and continued his education. Willie later became a graduate of Camden high School Class of 1965. After high School Willie chose several paths then later joined United States Air Force. After Departing the Air Force he returned home from Germany and choose to take on various career paths. Willie eventually settled his career choice with the New Jersey Transit, where he committed over 30+ years of his life to service the community. Willie was a man of charity who loved to dress sharp. He was an active member of the Progressive Lodge #17 out of New Brunswick NJ and a former member of Khufu Temple #120 out of Trenton NJ. Although he loved doing community service and work for the people in need, he was a very private man. You couldn't get much out of him when it came to his personal life but he was always willing to do all that he could for you when it came to your personal life. He would fuss and complain, but he would still help you. He enjoyed going to the cigar parlor with friends. He also enjoyed sitting in his car while smoking his cigar and watching nature. He was a traveling man but he would never fly high in the sky. His favorite travel time was always on Amtrak trains heading to Atlanta Georgia. Willie leaves to cherish his memory, his loving life partner Lucretia "Chris" Terry, one brother, John Williams. Two sisters, Diane James and Joann Holmes. 2 daughters Terry & Tonya, 6 grandchildren John, Jamar, Terrell, Mekayla, Kassydi Xavier. 11 nieces, Demetria, Nicole, Jeromna, Natasha, Tabitha, LaTina, Ieisha, Chanel, Nicole J, Sophia and Yvette. 3 nephews, Anthony, John, and Sean. 2 special cousins Frank Middlebrook and Gerry Anderson. And a host of great-grandchildren, great nieces & nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded him in death, his parents James and Rose Woodard his sister Shirley Press, his nieces Keesha Golden and Shawahn Hilliard and his great-niece Shavell Woodard. Lovingly submitted, The family
