Timothy Wesley Chaffin, born in the U.S. Naval Hospital of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 18th, 1956, and raised in Camden, New Jersey. He departed this life on August 18th 2020. Timothy, a man of God, baptized by Pastor John O. Parker and educated through Camden’s Public and Parochial School System. He was Army Veteran, and served from 1976 through 1978. He proved his dedication by empowering and uplifting fellow Veterans at the Veterans Haven South New Jersey Dept. of Military and Veteran’s Affairs. In addition to serving his country, he was no stranger to hard work. He continued his service by aiding his family and friends in their times of need. There was no job too big or small. He was all smiles when it came to supporting his elder’s and family with everything he had until his final days.
Though Timothy may no longer receive the worst gift during Christmas’ White Elephant, dress as Santa Clause for the children, nor will we hear his screams during an Eagles’ game, his smile and spirit will forever be imprinted on our hearts. No one is truly lost, for as long as their memory is survived by others.
To know him, was to love him. Timothy will live and love forever
