I will always remember Carrie (my first Sister-in=law) as a sweet, loving person. She was always concerned that her children and aunties/uncles would remain a loving unit. She didn't have to worry. We always loved her and will always love our nieces and nephews. Like God Himself, as being made in His image, nothing shall ever change our love for one another, Carrie would have been overjoyed with her Home Going Service. It was a beautiful tribute to a life well-lived. My heart felt condolences to you, family. Love you much!

I will Always remember our "Jovial" conversations, laughing and just having a "Ball" over the phone about old times and the fun we shared in Suffolk, Va. Carrie always reminded me of the time she came home to Suffolk when Darian, her youngest son was born. When she awakened one morning, (I was a youngster myself) and had dressed the baby, (Darian) placed him in his large carriage and was headed up the street. She ran to get the baby and always reminded me how I looked up at her and said....."I Want You To Go Home".....I wanted the baby all to myself. We never failed laughing about this incident for many years. I will truly Miss Carrie but her Loving, Kind and Jovial Spirit will Remain with me Forever. My Condolences and Prayers to All Our Family Members and Friends. R. I. P. My Sister...R.I.P. " I Will Always Love and Carry You In My Heart And Soul"...... (Littlesister)

To God be the Glory...
Dear God, Thank you for the love she expressed towards me. Thank you for the unconditional care you gave to me. Thank you for your generosity. None can compare. I enjoyed the days of scripture readings, the God in you, the way you showed me an excellent way to be in Christ...I love you Momma Carrie, may you rest well.

Rest in peace, my Sister. I will always remember you with your special strut as you led the choir processional and directing the choir.
You have indeed fought the good fight and kept the faith. Now you have been elevated into the choir in heavenly places. We will miss you but thank God you passed this way.
