GG was the Great-Grandmother of fourteen and the Great-Great grandmother of two: Jaylen & Branden Jr. One Sister- Lilian Ray of Philadelphia, PA, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, extended family, and church family will cherish the memory of sweet GG.
GG was kind, loving, and a virtuous woman. Proverbs 31:10-26 described her best. These are a few highlights from that passage of scripture that spoke to GG’s awesome character: Verses 10-12 -Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. Verse 20-She stretches out her hand to the poor; yea, she reaches forth her hands to the needy. Verses 25-26-Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom; and her tongue is the law of kindness.
Truly, there was no better example of a virtuous woman. All who knew her were able to feel her beautiful, loving, peaceable, and giving spirit. GG’s favorite scripture was Psalms 23. She lived her life accordingly, demonstrating that the Lord was the shepherd of her life.
