Obituary of Sarah C. Green

Obituary Sarah Carolina Green received her wings and went home to be with our Lord Wednesday morning on January 6, 2021 at 4:00 am. Our beloved Aunt was born March 16, 1933 to the late Hazel Henry Fulton and Sarah Jane Burgess Fulton in Kingstree, South Carolina. Out of nine brothers and sisters, Sarah Green along with her sister Mary Ann Hinton were the only two remaining children. Sarah relocated to Philadelphia, PA with her mother and sister at the age of 13 where she continued her education in the Philadelphia Public School System. Sarah Green her mother and sister began fellowship at Little Zion Church under Bishop B.M, Oakley until 1960. In her later years she devoted her life serving the Lord at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ under the Pastorate of Bishop Samuel P. Fulton. Serving the Lord in many capacities, deaconess, hospitality board, choir, missionary and pastor aid. Sarah Green served at Faith Temple until January 2008 to which she became a member of Sarah Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of her nephew Elder Robert Fulton. Sarah Green was serving the Lord faithfully after the passing of her sister Mother Mary Ann Hinton. Sarah was installed as the Church Mother. Mother Green was dedicated to attending church and serving the Lord and singing on the choir. Mother Green worked for the Jewish Family Federation for over 20 years. She was a Home Health Aid until she retired. To which she devoted her time, love and energy into caring for others. She loved to cook and her door was always open to family & friends if you needed food or a place to stay she would welcome you into her home with love. Mother Green was loving, caring, motivating and passionate. She leaves her memories and legacy & her life’s work: son Jerry Lee Rose, nephew Elder Robert Fulton (Rochelle) niece Rose Mary Fobbs, nephew Anthony Mosely (Ramona) 4 Grand daughters, great-grands, great-great grands, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, great-great-great nephews, a host of cousins, 1 god daughter and friends
