Ursley Jane Parker was born on December 5, 1919 in Essex County Virginia. She departed this life January 9, 2021 in the City of Camden, NJ. Ursley was raised by foster parents, the late John and Catherine Williams.
Ursley received her education in the Camden City School System. She enjoyed her career as a domesticated worker. She was highly regarded as someone who can gets the job done. She was a very valuable asset to any company and was always available to oversee and manage caretaker duties when needed.
Ursley met her loving companion John French and later moved to Berkley California in 1973 to spend her days with him until God called him home in 1994. She loved her California Life. The beauty of California living enlightened and inspired her. She often said she was a California girl living a lavish life in a California world.
In 1999, Ursley returned to her hometown of Camden, NJ where she could be close to her family for the duration of her beautiful and blessed life. In 2019, God Blessed Ursley to become a centennial who was adored by many family and friends.
Ursley loved Immaculate & opulent living. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, animals and the beauty of nature. She loved to garden and take pictures of her flowers in full bloom. She was over joyed by the beauty and melodious sound of birds and cared for many as precious pets. Ursley loved to travel to explore and experience all that life had to offer. At the end of her life, she said “I seen everything, I’ve been through a lot, I’ve done what I wanted to do and God has been so good to me”.
Ursley leaves to mourn Lorraine Crisdon, cousins Tyrone and Monique Crisdon and special cousins, Cynthia and Linda who were like her daughters and Deacon Donald Crisdon (Deaconess Jacqueline) Crisdon, Sr. and a host of cousins and family members, including her loving home health aide Nori Morales whom she loved dearly.
