Sam Mitchell, 74, of Daytona Fl, passed away on Jan. 9 2021 in Camden, NJ Sam was born in Daytona Fl. to Clara and John Mitchell on April 6,1946.  He went to  school at George Washington Carver High School.  He was married Sherry Smith for 45 plus years.  He worked many jobs from Ocean Spray Wolfington Bus Company, Amtrak foods, Volunteers of America, Harmony Place to his most loved job Unity Place. Where he was a driver, he loved driving. He was an stand-up man a provider and protector. He  was family oriented  loving and funny. Known as "Speedy" and "Da Da" Sam was smooth and laid back and would help anybody. Sam is preceded in death by parents Clara and John Mitchell, brother Peter Rayfield and Johnny, Sisters Melinda and Virginia Daughter Gwen, A grandson Kashon and close nephew Renny. Sam is survived by wife Sherry,7 children Clara (Larry) Kenny, Olivia (Eric) Samuel "pop" (Davida) Ricky Ressa & Ren (Pos) Sisters Lillian, Lucinda and baby sister Joyce (Lee) Grands & Great-grands, Natisha, Sequoyah, Jaylon, Morgan, Malik, Mason, Deotae, Deashia, Keydream, Kaysha, Coron, Naja, Maurice, Chancez Zayven (his main man), Shamil and Skylar Memorials may be given to The family of (Mitchell/Smith) and wishes to extend our sincere thanks to (Sandra Lee & Unity Place)
