On the last day of this month my heart and soul will be in NJ with all of the family to honor, mourn and say goodbye for now to my best friend Lydia. She was a strong, wise and loving woman beyond belief. She definitely made my life so much better because she was a part of it. She helped me with my whole life in Vieques by teaching me so much about the Vieques culture, how to fish in the ocean, by working tirelessly to help me with my house, by allowing me to share in the love of her family whom she cared for more than anything. I feel like I am a part of your family too because of her. Thanks to all of you for always accepting me so graciously, it means the world to me. I will forever carry her love in my heart and I will miss her like crazy. This Sunday I will work to forget my sadness and celebrate what an incredible person was. My love goes out to each of you and with the strength she imparted to each of you may you get through this. Many Blessings to you all!
