We rode the train together for years. She was a very good friend. I hadn’t seen any posts from her on FB for a while so I checked her page. I was so upset and saddened by the news that she passed away. We would always say we were going to meet up again but then Covid happened. Our favorite song was soul sista. She always made me very comfortable when we’d have discussions on Black Lives Matter and racism. She had taught me a lot. I miss you Mikie. I love you.❤️❤️

To Doc and family,
Hey, this here news hurts our hearts deeply. We are sorry very sorry to have gotten this news about our dear Mikie. Words will never express this kind of sadness. Stand strong family and lean not onto your own understanding. Baby fought a good fight but God knew she was tired. So hold on family, to Gods unchanging hand. We will never forget the GREAT times in Rehoboth Beach, at the many jazz concerts.........and Crab Bag, what a FUN-tastic times. Rest in Padadise, Mikie. We will truly miss you, but you will forever live on in our hearts and memories.
Love in His Name,
Lew & Bonnie
