Maurice Pendleton, Jr. was born on
May 30, 1949 to Miriam and Maurice Pendleton in Washington Heights, New York City, NY. He was the first grandchild in the family. He attended PS 69 and Stitt JHS for one year until the family moved to Teaneck, NJ. in 1962. Maury attended Teaneck High School and not long after graduation was inducted into the army and sent to Viet Nam for one year. He completed the rest of his tour of duty in the mid-West in 1970.
After leaving the army Maury went to work for Wells Fargo and after some years he met and found his true love Michelle. They were married in 1984. Maurice the III, considered a miracle baby, was born. Maury and Mikki endured many hardships, but their love grew stronger and they enjoyed many years of marriage. Maurice was happy and congenial and always loved his cars, especially corvettes.
When Michelle passed away Maurice was devastated and his health started to deteriorate, partly due to his tour in Viet Nam. His only wish was to be reunited with his beloved wife. God answered his prayers and I am sure he is happy again. Free at last, he Is just away.
Maurice is survived by his son, Maurice the lII, who is happy and safe in an adult care facility, Aunt Victoria (Bette), Cousin and Godson Stefano Capobianco, Cousins Mark, Susan and Ricki, as well as many other cousins.
