Obituary of Loretta E Enders

Loretta Evelyn Kyle Enders, or “Cuddles” as she was affectionately known, was born on October 27, 1932 in Paterson NJ. She departed this life to be with the Lord on March 16, 2021. She was 88. Loretta was the oldest daughter of the late James and Evelyn Kyle. At an early age, she showed signs of love, compassion, resilience and adventure. Her educational journey started in the Paterson school system but Loretta’s thirst for knowledge knew no bounds.
Married for 61 years to Lee Edward “Eddie” Enders, Sr, retired Air Force Veteran, she traveled all over the world. Loretta had new experiences with every deployment, raising a family in many locations. She often took her children, nieces and nephews on her adventures, teaching them the skills of map reading, sparking their own passion for traveling. She was a queen of the TripTik. Loretta was also passionate about crocheting and photography. Anyone looking at her photos would know she had a great creative eye.
Loretta was a dedicated and committed employee for over 25 years at Virtua Memorial Hospital. She was also a member of the Christ Baptist Church of Burlington for many years, and enjoyed singing in the choir. She loved all types of music, from jazz to R&B to gospel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eddie of Westampton, and brother James “Butch” Kyle of Boston.
She is survived by her daughter Lori Elaine of Burlington and son Lee Edward II of Camden, stepdaughter Gladys Gibbs of Columbus OH, grandson Trevor and wife Melissa Chin of Baltimore, step-granddaughter Serena Wright of Boston, beautiful great-grandchildren Zoe and TJ, sister and brother-in-law Shirley and Donald Curtis of Paterson, nieces and nephews Shari Curtis of Washington DC, Monilola and Ronald Foster of Columbia SC, Darnice and David Jasper of Jessup MD, grandnieces Robyn and Candace and grandnephew Isaac, and treasured cousins, friends and church members.
