Marylee Barberann Watson Key
Marylee Barberann Watson Key was born to the late Catherine Siplin and George Key Jr. on July 18, 1943 in Center Hill, Florida. Our Servant of God was suddenly called to Glory in the early morning on Saturday, April 10, 2021.
After graduating high school, Mary moved out of her parents’ house to live and experience the world on her own. Her curiosities and family members brought her to Trenton, NJ where she worked at the State Psychiatric Hospital with her (late) Aunt Dora Thomas. She worked a variety of other jobs to support her family. She landed a job at Fairless Steel Mill and moved her family to Willingboro, NJ. Mary loved to cook and be of service.
Sister Mary Watson joined Second Baptist Church of Moorestown, NJ on April 23, 1995, under the spiritual leadership of Reverend Dr. Coleman M. Wallace, Sr. She served with dedication and faithfulness on the Busy Bee Ministry, Sr. Missionary Circle, President of the Volunteer Working Team, and volunteered during Vacation Bible School to prepare and serve the snacks for the children.
Mary leaves to Cherish her two sons, Kim Irving Watson and Douglass Key, her daughter-in-law, Kathleen Key; five grandchildren who she dearly adored: Jackie Watson, Nadia Watson, Jawan Crews, Dante Key and Kira Key; and one great-grandchild, Alayah Crews; two sisters: Janet Jenkins and Laura Hall, one brother, Alan Key; her sister-in-law Delores Martin, a brother-in-law, James Hall and a special aunt, Tina Swan and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was predeceased by her Mother and Father, Catherine and George Key; her brothers, John and Alfonso Key Sr., and her sister, Ida Mae Rodman.
Lovingly submitted,
The Key Family
