Obituary of Ruth M McCombs

Ruth Maxine McCombs was born on December 16, 1938 to the late Walter and Norma Brown. She lived and grew up in Cinnaminson NJ.She had (3) brothers and (5) sisters. Later she attended Palmyra High School where she met her high school sweetheart Ernest(Sonny)McCombs, which she married and had (5) children. Ruth known as (Mackie) to her family, loved baby sitting half the kids in Palmyra. She loved planting flowers and doing crossword puzzles. Also was a great cook and would feed a stranger if they came to the door. Ruth is survived by sister Norma Brown, (2) daughters, Sharon McCombs and Janice Barclay and (1) son Gary McCombs. Son-in-laws, Peter Barclay and William Howard. (1) daughter in law Charlene McCombs. (6) grandchildren, Homer and Brian Phillips,Carla McBride, Porsha Meachum(Antoine),Gary McCombs Jr, Jazmin McCombs. (4) great grandchildren, Craig and Caelan McBride, Nevaeh Phillips, Aysha Meachum. (1) Godson, Kirk(BJ)James, and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by husband Ernest McCombs Jr, (2) sons Ernest McCombs III and Kirk McCombs. (4) sisters, Betty Abernathy, Barbara Bailey, Patricia Pritchett, Joyce Brown. (3) brothers, Walter Brown, Stanley Brown, and John Brown
