Obituary of Ora D Smith

Ora Dean Smith was born on February 22, 1939 to the late Caleb Ross II and the late Ora Jane Ross, In Raeford, NC. She departed peacefully, in Willingboro NJ. She was baptized at St James Holiness church in Raeford NC. She continued attending with her parents then actively participated in the services and sang in the choir. She continued serving the Lord under the Leadership of Bishop Claudelee Campbell, until the day she passed. She attended Upchurch Public School and later attended Business school, in New York. She worked for over 35 years in retail and enjoyed serving the public and developed many long lasting relationships with people she met. She selflessly devoted herself  to family, friends or anyone who she helped. She was United in Holy Matrimony, to the Love Of Her Life, Carl Andrew Smith. She has four wonderful children and three grand children. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her devoted and loving husband Carl, Her sons, Michael Ross (Irish Michelle), of NC. Wayne Ross (Kristine), of MA, Mark Smith (Stephanie) of NJ and her only daughter Jacqueline Smith (LeVar). of NJ. Grand children, Darren, Terrica and Shanelle of NC. One brother, Clarence Ross. of NY.   A very special friend, Eloise Carter of Sanford FL, and a host of other cherished family and friends. Her three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. For I Am Now Ready For I am now ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me on that day:  and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.                                                  II Timothy 4:6-8
