Ann Mary Ward 'Thomas 'affectionately known as 'Mommy Ann' to all.
was born March 10th, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY.
she was raised by Father (James Herman) and Mother (Frances Carter) of Queens, NY. Both of whom loved and adored her unconditionally.
she went home to be with the Lord on July 3rd, 2021.
She was educated in Jamaica Queens NY and went on to College.
Ann was then employed at Metropolitan Insurance company and also the Navy Yard.
Later she met (Reinaldo Martin) and from that union had a Daughter (Deirdre Martin). in time Ann met the Love of her life (Eugene Thomas)
and together they raised a blended family of (5) until his death in 1987.
and was one of 6 siblings, 5 of which preceded her in death, Elizabeth Taylor (sister), Constance Harris (sister), Mary Powell (sister) and
James Carter (brother) and one surviving sister Marniska Williams of Mt. Holly NJ. Also pre-deceased Grand daughter (Kyra Renee Martin) and
2 Sons (Walter Pierre Thomas) and (Gregory Allen Thomas), and 2 Grandsons (Garry W Murray) and (Christopher B Harris).
she leaves to cherish in her memories (Deirdre Renee Martin) Daughter of Cinnaminson NJ, Son (Michael Thomas) and daughter in law
(Wendy Thomas) of Mt. Holly NJ and daughter (Carol Murray) of CT.
A very special (Daughter/Granddaughter) Kalia Wyatt and Antione Wyatt of Willingboro, NJ . Ann has a total of 16 grandchildren. Grandsons: Darian Murray, Michael Thomas Jr and Asan Wyatt. grand daughters: Diamond Dennis, Donyae Dennis, Dasia Martin, Maresha Thomas, Deborah Warner and Danielle Thomas just to name a few.
One Great Great Grandson Quayon Tullis Jr, lastly 2 very special friends John Pinkett and Josephine.
Ann had many hobbies and mastered then all, if you didn't catch her in the kitchen baking brownies, she was in her rocking chair
knitting blankets and clothes for everyone she could think of. she also had a great love for puzzles, she would dump the box on the table
put it together and then glue them together with a paint brush.
*In her later years she mastered them on a computer-she said it kept her brain intact she also had a doll collection (not to be touched) LOL
*Ann enjoyed her days with Family full of smiles and Love, laughter and appreciation she was many things to us all, but she leaves
great memories and traditions that in our hearts will keep her alive forever
