Dwayne Maurice Byers
Was called into eternal rest on July 10, 2021, Dwayne was born October 18, 1966, in Atlantic City New Jersey to the late Venson And Betty Byers In Atlantic City New Jersey
Dwayne graduated from Camden High School in 1985. After graduating, he served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years. After being honorably discharged he served as a prison guard at the Riverfront Prison in Camden, New \Jersey. He then served in the United States Navy for four more years before being honorably discharged.
Dwayne loved the Lord, he was baptized under the leadership of Reverend Gordon in 1998 at Little Rock Baptist Church. Dwayne was a loving and kind man, he loved sports and playing Playstation. He was also a big Dallas Cowboys Fan. Anyone that knew Dwayne knew he took pride in the way he looked. He also loved his mother’s cooking, spaghetti and meatballs were his favorite.
Dwayne is preceded in death by his mother and father Betty and Venson Byers. Also a sister Valerie Harmon.
Dwayne leaves to cherish his daughter: Gia Byers-Fox (Stephen), one grandson Dominic Fox, 3 brothers James Smith(Maxine), Dr. Tony Jones(Susie), Leonard Davis(Bernice), 2 sisters; Roslyn Mason(Mac), & Venell Byers. 2 special sisters Lisa Walker (Steven), Betty Melvins(Domir) one goddaughter Ayuana Byers, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
