Anna Marie Hohney was born to the late William Edward Hohney and Thelma Mae Hohney on January 2, 1954. Anna departed from this life on July 24, 2021. Anna was educated at Pyne Poynt Middle School in North Camden.
Anna worked for many years at Coopers Poynt Elementary School as a Lunch Aide. She had a special love of scarfs that she collected and enjoyed receiving them as gifts. Anna was fondly known as Papoose or Ziggy among family and friends.
During Anna's relax time she enjoyed watching western shows with her favorite snacks BBQ Chips and Twizzlers. When getting together with the family she is known to enjoy and sing the song by Biggie Smalls "Big Poppa". Her favorite part in the song is "Love it when you call me Big Poppa". Anna's song that brings her peace is "All the Flower you Plant" by Sinead O'Connor.
Anna is predeceased by her father William E. Hohney, mother Thelma Mae Hohney, her son Floyd E Hohney "Skeeter", brothers Harrison Lee Norman and Keith D Hohney. She leaves to cherish her unforgettable memories to her son David D. Hohney, 3 brothers James E. Norman Jr.(Alice), William O Hohney, Kenneth E. Hohney, 5 sisters Betty Ann Ellis, Viola L. Hohney, Christine Y. Hohney, Rose Anne Hohney-Torres (Salvador), Yvette M. Hohney, 4 grands Alanna Johnson, Desire Copling, Floyd Johnson "Lil Skeet", Nyasia Skeetana Sanchez, 1 great grand Jeremiah Boozer, a beloved Daughter-in-law to be Mae Harris and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
