Obituary of Leila M Williams

The Life Celebration of Leila Mae Williams Leila Mae Williams was born June 10, 1926, in Bowman South Carolina to the late John and Marie Patrick. Leila Mae was the ninth child. She moved to New York City and later she relocated in 1960 to Philadelphia Pa, where she had a career in English and Home Economics as a teacher in the Philadelphia Public school district; she also found a church home as a long-time member at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Philadelphia until her death. Leila Mae was a loving woman of God and a mother, grandmother; she valued family especially to her grandchildren. Leila Mae was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings five sister's Josephine Patrick, Georgia Mae Patrick, Naomi Richardson, Margaret Madison, Lois Seabrooks, four brother's George Patrick, Floyd Patrick, Grady Patrick, and Roosevelt Patrick, two son's John L. Williams, Pierre Williams, two grand­son's Tracy Williams, and Donte Fooks. She leaves behind to mourn and cherish her memory; her six loving children three sons Joe Williams, Jay Williams, David Williams, three daughters Iris Reid, Betty Williams, Tameka Fooks, four Daughters in-laws, three son's in-laws, twenty-one grandchildren's Regina, Tyreehn, Ty Ronda, Kimel, Lesley,T Lauren, Sonya, thirty -four great grandchildren's three great-great grandchildren's and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
