Obituary of Darrell Reggie Plowden
Please share a memory of Darrell to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Darrell Reggie was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 1, 1979 to Mr. & Mrs. Darrell and Sharon Plowden. He received his High School Diploma from Carnise High. He departed this life on September 25, 2021 in Bucks Co. Pennsylvania.
He enjoyed watching sports especially the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angles Lakers. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his 15 year son Kaleb Plowden. They loved Shopping, having dinner and play wrestling together. Darrell loved to keep his SUV sparkling and shinny.
For a short period of time Reggie was a volunteer firefighter, and had a strong Christian belief in God and his son Jesus Christ. Reggie often read the bible at night before he went to bed and called his mother. He told his son every night at 9 o clock “although we are not under the same roof, I will be praying and I want you to join in with me to pray”. His mother said “that is great I will be on the prayer line at 9'oclock” He told his son Kaleb and his parents that “I would like for ya'll to join me and that we have to keep God in it, when God hears two or more people praying, he gets in the middle”.
Reggie worked at BJ's Wholesale Warehouse and was a dedicated worker at times held down two jobs. He loved providing for his family.
