Obituary of Robber L. Makins, Jr.

Robber L. Makins Jr. was born in Laurens, SC on June 27, 1957, to the late Robber L. Makins Sr. and the late Bessie Mae Watkins.
Robber was educated in the school systems of New York, South Carolina, Philadelphia, and New Jersey. Robber attended Camden County College where he majored in business. He also attended school to become a mastered welder. Robber was employed at Aluminum Shapes as a machine operator and welder, for more than 30 years before he retired.
Robber was a man who loved his family. He and his wife cherished the home they shared and loved to plan home improvements together. Some of his favorite things to do were to watch the news and talk about current events with his family and friends in the community.
Robber met his beloved wife Dorothy in his early teens. His always said “I thought I couldn’t have her”, but with skill and ability he married Dorothy on February 4, 1978. They shared a home in Pennsauken, NJ where their family continued to grow. They had a wonderful marriage together for 43 years until death did them part on October 16, 2021.
Robber leaves to salute and cherish his legacy; his wife Dorothy Makins; sisters, Sandra Anderson(Charles), Debra Makins, Theresa Spruill, and Stacey Williams(Daniel); brothers, Divine Makins, King Unique Beyallah(Stacey) and True Makins; sons, Robber “ManMan” Stewart(Sharay) and Robber “Bobby” Makins(Marie); daughters, Keiyetta, Dorothy, and Tina; grandchildren, Lapreice, Azaria, Kayla, Khalil, Aaliyah, Jermar, Amarie, Nyreel, NaJee, Robber, and Nyla; great grandchildren, Ava, Jason, Amir, Amorah, Kacey, Alani, Alayah, and our newest princess Kali; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Robber is now reunited with his father Robber Sr., mother Bessie Mae, brother Khaaliq, father in-law William Ross and mother in-law Dorothy Ross.
