Obituary of Rose A Randalls
Please share a memory of Rose to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Rose Anne Randells departed this life on October 23, 2021. Rose was born on July 24, 1948, to the late Roosevelt and Curley Mae Gaines. She was predeceased by four brothers: John Henry Johnson, Winston, Benny, and Lonnie Gaines and three sisters: Valerie, Doris, and Pamela Gaines. Rose was educated in the Glassboro Public School system in Glassboro, New Jersey, where she was a lifelong resident. She married Andre Randells in May of 1986.
Rose worked for several years at Visiting Nurse of South Jersey until her health started to fail. She loved her family and friends dearly. She enjoyed family gatherings, especially during holidays where family and friends would come together for dinner and have a good time. Rose also loved music from the good ole oldies, to reggae, and going to the casino. She enjoyed having study with Jehovah Witnesses as well. Rose was also a very stylish person who loved fashion and looking nice no matter where she went, even if it was just to the supermarket.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Walter and Leroy Merriwether of Glassboro, New Jersey; a nephew, Omar Gaines, six grandchildren: Leroy Harden, Tanequa Merriwether, Forrest Graves, Chardae Walls, Aaliyah Merriwether, and Deon Merriwether-Tull; one brother, Lorenzo Gaines; four sisters: Diane Gunther, Vestine, Carol, and Idella Gaines; twelve great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; three close friends: Jeanette Suitor, Ellata Deberry, and Elaina Sharp; two sisters-in-law, Rachael Johnson of Camden, New Jersey and Geneva Gaines of Glassboro, New Jersey
