Claudette Rosalee Campbell was born to Dudley & Yvonne Campbell in Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica, West Indies on September 30th, 1970. She was the eldest of eight children. She was predeceased by her parents and two of her siblings. She attended Carisbrook Primary School and Maggotty Secondary School before migrating to the United States in 1985. Her studies continued at Flushing High School in Queens, New York. After graduating high school, Claudette studied accounting at Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn, New York.
From an early age Claudette knew the Lord. When she was 11, she was baptized in the Seventh Day Adventist church. After coming to the states, she would become a regular member at Goshen Temple S.D.A church in Brooklyn, New York where she would attend every Saturday with her mother and siblings. Her role in the church would grow as she became an usher and a member of the choir.
After college, Claudette started work as a receptionist at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. She attended Allen School in Brooklyn and earned her nursing assistant certification. She also earned certification as an medical office assistant from the New York Institute of Business Technology.
Claudette was always full of life and full of stories that she always told with a smile. Claudette was a sister, auntie and a mother figure to her siblings, her nieces, and nephews.
Aside from her religious duties she loved to write, sing, dance, cook and congregate with her family. After the passing of her parents, Claudette moved to South Jersey to be closer to her siblings, whom she called almost every day. She became a member of Baptist Union Church under the leadership of Pastor Christopher E. McBeth.
Claudette has left to mourn, siblings: Clive, Suzzette, Alma, Maisie, and Christopher. Nieces & Nephews: Terrel, Tanesha, Antonette, Malik, Akeem, Adrielle, Nakima, Julisa, Chaedene, Terence (TJ), and Kayla. Great-niece: Zori. Aunts: Gloria, Joan, Herta, Ruby, and Marvia. Uncle: Rudolph (Gabby). Sisters-in-law: Omoy and April. Brothers-in-law: Jermaine, Vincent, and Irwin and a host of other relatives and friends.
On Christmas Day 2021, Claudette has gone to be with the Lord.
