Emma Jean Bussey, age 91 of Willingboro, NJ, departed life on Tuesday Jan. 4, 2022 at 8:01am in the comfort of her home of residence. Her son Henry L. Bussey and fiancé Karen Swinton was by her side.
Emma was born June 6, 1930 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to the late William Dyer and Emma Dyer Manley.
She later married her late husband, George M. Bussey Sr. (E-8 Retired Army) they were married for 53 years.
Emma Jean was a devoted wife and mother. Emma was active on various organizations, committee, and lifetime member of Del Val Baptist Church Pastor James Betner. Chapter 42, DAV Willingboro, NJ Red Hatters, Ladies Auxiliaries and many other dedicated services received under her husbands appointed positions well known throughout the community and National Associations.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband and soulmate of 53 years, George M. Bussey sr. (deceased), two daughters, Nancy Clark (deceased) Tampa Florida, Georgina Bussey of Willingboro, NJ, two sons George Bussey Jr., Burlington NJ, and Henry L. Bussey and Karen Swinton both of Willingboro NJ. Two brothers who both preceded in death, Aaron O’Daniel and David O’Daniel, and a host of many grand and great grands, nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues.
