Alma was my Mom’s caregiver and our dear friend. She was a kind and gentle soul — truly an angel on earth. I think of her often and remember the wonderful conversations we shared. Even after she stopped working with Mom, we continued to stay in touch. She was a lovely, strong, and loving woman. And, even though I miss her, I will keep her memory alive in my heart.

I just found this obituary for Alma and am saddened to find she passed away.
She called me from the hospital and said she wasn't doing well and would get back to me. I didn't hear from her, so I tried texting and then calling and found the phone number out of service.
I eventually searched for obituaries and found nothing, so I hoped she was OK and maybe lost my number with a new phone. I guess I have not searched in awhile, but today something told me to look. When I read it and saw some of the names, Joseph, Purcell, The Twins, I knew it was my Alma I was reading about.
My name is Jim Ott, and I first met Alma when I hired heard to care for my mother and father over in W. Collingswood Heights, NJ in 2007. I had to put my mother and father in nursing and long term care respectively in 2008, and moved them out to Monmouth County.
Alma and I stayed in touch and would meet for lunch every so often and catch up. Usually at Appleby's and also at the Black Horse Diner. The last lunch we had was 10 Aug 2021 at the Black Horse Diner, She was so bubbly and full of life I could never have imagined that would be the last time I saw her. She got me a little wine glass/bottle table with my name on it that I keep next to my recliner at the condo in NJ. I will think about here even more now when I am sitting there. I attached a picture of it.
Alma, I love you, miss you, and know your are having a great time with all the Angels and people you helped that are in heaven with you. Hope your spending some time with my mother and father.
Love,
Jim
