Q: How did you meet Joseph?
A: I met Joe Searles on a visit to Palmyra, New Jersey with my husband, James "Beezer" Bullock who had traveled there to visit his Aunt Martha, cousins Dicey and Odessa, Joe's wife, and other relatives who lived nearby. My condolences to Karen, Joe and Odessa's beloved daughter. Joe adored Karen, and both he and Odessa were so proud of her when she completed college and became a nurse. Joe was devoted to Odessa whom he treasured. He was quite the farmer, and I recall the huge vegetables he grew in his backyard. Joe sent a card every Christmas. I realized that when my Christmas card to him came back unclaimed something was wrong. Karen, I know it must be difficult without your father,. However, he was a true and faithful servant of God and he and Beezer are laughing it up in Heaven. May God Bless and keep you in His care. Norma Bullock, wife of James Beezer Bullock. 2/10/23
