Obituary of Courtney N Norman
Please share a memory of Courtney to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Our Beautiful Courtney Nicole Norman was born to Larry and Cheryl Norman on March 10, 1993. She went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 19, 2022.
Affectionately known by her family and friends as Court, she graduated from Willingboro High School in June 2011. After graduating Courtney continued her education at Delaware State University and soon transferred to Rider University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Courtney did not stop there; she was formidable in her pursuit of higher education. In December 2021 she received her master’s degree in education from St Joseph’s University.
At an early age Courtney gave her life to Christ, and lived a life dedicated to His service. Always willing to help out wherever she was needed, Courtney was a strong presence in Community Baptist Church. She served on The Children’s Choir, The Praise Dance Ministry, The Youth Ministry, The Young Adult Choir, The Young Adult Ministry, and was the Lead for Praise and Worship. When there was no one to lead worship during the pandemic Courtney was there! Her smile and her presence was something everyone could count on. Courtney was also a big part of the Kitchen Ministry, and helped with Vacation Bible School, and the Ahman B Fralin Sports Camp. There was nothing Courtney would refuse to do in service for the Lord. Courtney was known to many for her angelic vocals. This led to her becoming an integral part of the gospel musical group Chosen Elect.
Courtney loved children. During her high school years, she worked at Funplex in Mt. Laurel NJ., and went on to work at Kita’s Karousel daycare. She also enjoyed her fashions and was always aware of the current trends. This led her to work with her sister at Trendsettaz Beauty Salon. Courtney also worked with NJ Family care, Fairwold Academy, W. D. Kelly School, and she was most recently employed with High Roads School of Bucks County.
Courtney was loved by so many. Her friends were too many to number, as are her extended family! All would agree, her infectious smile would light up any room. She had a style which was unmatched. From her hair to her nails, any style she presented spoke volumes. Anyone who knew Courtney knew it was rare if ever that she would repeat an outfit. She will truly be missed!
