Obituary
Obituary of James Lamar Tuten
Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
James Lamar Tuten was born in Camden, New Jersey on November 15, 1974 where he also received most of his education while attending public school. He was affectionately known to everyone as "Blinky" and would also answer to "Habeeb" if you called him.
He found his niche as a Personal Trainer where he enjoyed helping others to achieve their goals; his physique was his business card, while his personality captivated his clients. He was passionate, dedicated and a hard worker. With help from a good friend, he also embarked on another business called "Blink Twice Detailing".
Anyone who knew James would tell you that he wore his heart on his sleeve and didn't mind expressing himself even if it made you laugh. He was a comedian at heart, he'd make you laugh at the silliest things. His laughter and his smile were contagious.
James was blessed with a large loving family. He loved family gatherings and giving hugs to everybody while laughing at them at the same time (must've been an insider). He adored his children; Dahjha’nara Fields, Dayzhon Fields, Qua’meere Orange and Jaylen Tuten they were the world to him.
Although James had three brothers and one sister, his male cousins were like his brothers. His presence will forever be missed; his laughter and smile will never be replaced.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Queen Thomas; deceased step-father Franklyn Thomas, father Terry Bemberry sister, Jerquinn (Shonny, three brothers; Walter (T-Law), Devon, Terrence (Nate) (Melissa Holmes-Tuten) favorite nephew John "Mookie" Houston, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
