Obituary of Cynthia J Banks
Please share a memory of Cynthia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Cynthia J. Banks was born May 30, 1946, in Camden, NJ to the late Herbert Banks and Evelyn Juanita Primas and returned home on May 12, 2022. She was raised by her mother in the city of Camden where she attended public school. She eventually cut short her education, after a year of college, to devote her life to raising her 2 small children after the sudden passing of her beloved partner, Dr. Charles B. Henderson. She held various office jobs throughout her life enabling her to relocate her family to the Cherry Hill area in the 80s. She eventually found her dream job in the early 2000s as an accounts receivable manager at Stone Partnership in Pennsauken NJ and later also took a position as a part-time data entry clerk at PNC Bank until she retired from both jobs in 2014.
Cynthia was a beautiful, smart, funny, kind, generous, and fun-loving woman known for her style, grace, strong work ethic, and tendency to spoil her children. She was the rock of her family and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Those who knew her couldn’t help but love her. She was, most of all, a devoted and nurturing mother whose cherished memory lives on through her family who love her beyond measure.
Cynthia leaves behind her daughter Monica and son-in-law Mark Frieson, son Byron Stephens, sister Margarita Diane Washington, grandchildren Reyna Frieson, Angelina Frieson, Dominic Frieson, Kadijah Bettis, and Dajshon Bettis, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
