Obituary of Ronald Snowden,Sr.

Ronald Snowden, Sr, the youngest of two children, born of the late John and Lillian Snowden, on November 6, 1950. He was raised in the City of Philadelphia and departed this life peacefully on June 20, 2022. Ronald was educated in the Philadelphia School System, graduating as part of the class of 1969. He subsequently joined the United States National Guard, receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1976. Ronald was employed by several oil refineries, retiring from Sunoco, Inc. after 37 years. Ronald married his ‘Lovebug’, Pauline, in 1977. They shared their lives traveling-especially cruising and enjoying their love for over 44 years. Two sons, Ronald, Jr, and Aaron were born of this union. Ronald, Sr was a true family man, enjoying time spent with his family, including his sons, grandson, Christopher and 2 ‘special’ granddaughters, Jasmine and Anastasia. They enjoyed spending time at amusement parks, hanging out at the beach, having good times and making fond memories. Ronald was predeceased by his parents, John and Lillian Snowden; aunt, Mattie Snowden; brothers, John Snowden, Jr, George Snowden; and son Aaron Snowden. Ronald leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife, Pauline; his loving son Ronald, Jr; grandson, Christopher Aaron; ‘special’ granddaughters Jasmine and Anastasia; ‘special’ great grandson, Jahmid; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many other loving family members and friends.
