Obituary
Obituary of Chelsea E Worlds
Please share a memory of Chelsea to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Chelsea Elaine Worlds, daughter of Late Theodore R. Worlds and the late Leora Finch Worlds was born on May 29, 1941, in Camden, NJ; she was the eighth of eleven children. Chelsea slept away into eternal rest on August 16, 2022.
Chelsea received her education in the Camden school system and was a proud graduate of the class of ‘59. She attended Rutgers University in Camden with a concentration in sociology. Chelsea was employed at Federal Reserve Bank for over 20 years where she held the position as Cash Operations Specialist. Her education, work ethic, and experience also allowed her to be employed by Bell Telephone in NY, Biothane Corporation at the Broadway Terminal, and the Camden Board of Education where she was a substitute AFTER RETIREMENT!
Chelsea accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior at a young age and was baptized at the Nazarene Baptist church. Chelsea enjoyed worshipping the Lord and she attended every special service that she was invited to by her family and friends.
Chelsea was a woman of unwavering faith, strength, dedication, and love for her family and family/friends. She was such a fierce spirit in the small vessel who never met a stranger she did not know. Chelsea enjoyed conversations and/or debates around the “round table” and was the historian in the family. She attended “everything” she was graciously invited to, late of course, but always “sharp as a tact”. And you could always count on her to have “anything” you could ever need in a time of emergency…….in her pocketbook. Chelsea will be greatly missed by all who have been blessed to be a part of her life.
Chelsea was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Ressie, William, Theodore, Rosezell, Ralph and Cornel Worlds, Alease Bell, Leora Steele, Elderrie, and Cora Worlds. She leaves to cherish her memory sisters-in-laws Edna and Joan Worlds and brother-in-law Johnnie Bell, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
