Celebrating the Life of Marty Lynn Hamilton
Marty Lynn Hamilton was born in Haddonfield, NJ July 16, 1957 of the late Marty and Elaine Hamilton.
Marty also had one sister, the late Katrina Hamilton. As you can see, Marty was named after her father whom she adored.
Marty attended and graduated from Haddonfield Memorial High School. Afterwards Marty worked at Campbell Soup Company in Camden, NJ as a senior lead clerk.
Marty’s next career for many years was being a mother and housewife. Marty has 2 children, Michael and Kristen Smith. Marty called them her twins because they were born a year and about two hours apart on the same date. During this time Marty also took up a few college courses in pre-med nursing and studied to be an assistance minister. Through-out the years, Marty always express that she wanted to help take care of senior citizens once she finished raising her children. For the past 8 years, Marty had been working at Oaks Integrated Care as a residential supervisor. Her co-workers became family to her.
Marty loved the Lord. She recently joined First Nazarene Baptist Church in which she sang in the choir. Her spirit and personality was guided by the words she frequently studied from the Bible. One of Marty’s favorite places to go was to the beach on her spare time. Marty of warm heart, sweet and spoke with a soft voice. You could not help but notice the bright smile she always had when meeting her and feel a little happier inside.
Marty leaves a legacy of love for many to cherish her memories. Marty leaves her children, Michael and Kristen, God-daughter Sharonda, cousins, and a few close friends. We will all miss her.
