Obituary of Victoria L. Grant

On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, the Lord gently called Victoria Louise Grant home and she peacefully and quietly passed away, surrounded by her devoted family, On December 9, 1987 God blessed Juanita Grant Darden with a beautiful baby girl Queen Victoria. She was the youngest daughter of the 5 girls. She was very protective of her family and grew up in a household where education was paramount. Victoria attended the Camden City school system and graduated in 2006 from Camden academy charter high school in Camden New Jersey. Where she graduated with honors. Victoria's passion was helping others, from taking care of her nieces and nephews to caring for the elderly. Victoria worked for Genesis Healthcare for 7 year which prompted her to complete her associate degree in Health Science from Burlington County College. Victoria was the glue of her family, she kept all of her siblings in order. She adored her nieces and nephews and would go to great lengths to ensure their well-being. Victoria's favorite hobbies were doing her nieces hair, Reading her bible, spending time with Semaj and Louis, and checking on family and friends via the phone or in person and living her life to the fullest. Victoria's unyielding spirit was contagious when she walked in, she was loved by everyone far and wide. Victoria had an unmatched style and continued to care for her friends and family even when illness struck and tried to dim her everlasting light. Victoria Kept pushing not letting her illness get in her way. Vickie fought against her illness until the lord call her home. We take comfort in know that Victoria knew the Lord and she's no longer suffering. Victoria leaves to cherish her fond memories her mother Juanita Grant Darden and God Mother Louise Donaldson, God Father Carlos London (Penney). 2 favorite men in her life were Thomas Darden and James Robinson, Her Step son Semaj King, Her Boyfriend Louis King. Her siblings Contina Grant, Juanita London, Latonya London, Terrance Grant, Latoya Grant, Aaron Darden, Eric Darden, Edward Darden. Victor Maurice Thomas II (Latisha), Maurice Taylor (Paris), Dana Thomas and 9 Nieces and 7 Nephews, 2 great nephews, A special Aunt Estella Grant, Denise Grant, Evon Brown, Uncle Ricky Grant, 2 God Brother James Bryant (Tomika) and Steven Cobb. God Children Ameer Chandler and Nyani Collins and Her Favorite Cousin Ashanti Kennedy, Best Friends Veronica Randolph and Shantice Bailey. A host of cousins and friends.
