Obituary of Linda M Grantham

Linda Maria Grantham of Sicklerville, New Jersey, passed away at 61 on March 14, 2023, due to cancer. Linda was born in Camden, New Jersey, to John Sr. and Betty Grantham on April 7, 1961. She graduated from Glassboro High School in 1979 and worked as a liaison for NER Data Products for six years before pursuing a career in the medical field. Linda enjoyed working as a long-term healthcare provider and a Medication Aide for nearly 20 years. She was a naturally gifted cook; her food - especially fried cabbage - was highly sought-after by everyone who’d ever enjoyed it. She was well-known for being “feisty,” even in her final days. Linda is survived by three children, Walter Walker, Jr., Monique Heyward, and Tanea Walker; her sister, Deborah (Taylor) Grantham, and her significant other, affectionately known to Linda as “Stu;” five brothers and their beloved wives, Gregory and Meredith Grantham, Gary Grantham, John and Cheryl Grantham, Dewayne and Terri Grantham, and James and Tabitha Grantham; 12 grandchildren; a best friend of about 50 years, Kathleen (Hicks) Scott; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, John Sr. and Betty Grantham, and her sister, Vanessa Bass. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, 103 Grove St., Glassboro, New Jersey, on March 25, 2023, at 12 p.m., with Minister JaZahn Hicks of Agape Fellowship Christian Church presiding. Burial will follow at Land of Canaan Cemetery in Glassboro, New Jersey. May Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church.
