Born into this world so beautiful, You were called Dolly as you laid in your mother’s arms.
Sarah Linda Clay was born on February 28, 1936, in Beaufort, South Carolina. She graduated from Robert Smalls High School in 1954 and moved to Norwalk, Connecticut where she met her husband Charles Sylvester Clay. Sarah was a Super Soulful Woman who worked numerous jobs including 10 years at Prince Manufacturing; Magic Marker, General Motors and Bristol Meyers Squibb. She was the embodiment of fierce and no-nonsense strength coupled with divine femininity. Through her life, Sarah’s common thread was unrelenting Love for her family and friends. If you were in Sarah’s heart, you were fully covered by her grace and whatever she had to offer, to help you to wholeness. She always extended her hands.
